The concept of Circus Armchair is having a high-end foldable seat that closes into a frame and it is also an art piece. It was designed so as to save space and have a high-end folding armchair with an artistic function. The prototype was built in lacquered wood and has Hokusai´s wave image, as a way of remembering Japanese small lacquered objects.
